Be Fierce this Mother's Day

Ever feel like you’re the only mom out there who’s happy to go to work every day? That even though you’re not “there” all day, you might be teaching your kids something equally as valuable? Yeah, us too. So a group of us badass moms in the ad industry (see pic below) came together to make something special for Mother’s Day.

Introducing Fierce Mama Cards.  We created this company out of a passion to close a gap in the greeting card market. Our goal is to share these empowering messages, and start a conversation about how we celebrate moms who kiss ass at home as well as in the boardroom.

SIDENOTE: I love this group picture SO much because at first glance it may look like there are 6 powerful women sitting there but there is actually 9 of us. Kim (bottom left) was pregnant with her second boy, Kammy (bottom middle) was pregnant with her second girl and me (far right) was pregnant with my first daughter. And guess what! That night I went in labour and 12 hours later delivered my beautiful baby girl so I get all the feels everytime I look at this picture.

Okay, back to the regular program! This Mother's Day we want to celebrate the working mom with Fierce Mama Cards, a collection of 11 cards that aren’t your typical flowery messages about unwavering love and patience. These are cards for powerful, driven moms who provide inspiration by showing equal commitment to their jobs and their kids. We have created two lines of cards - 1) for mom from children and 2) cards for mom from ANYONE!  You can send one to your mom, send one to your friend who’s a mom, send one to a mom that you work with.

Our cards are unique and unlike anything you will find at Hallmark! The cards combine highly graphic art styles with the intent to make the figures ambiguous in terms of race in order to be more inclusive with heartfelt phrases like, “You don’t need to put me to bed to shape my dreams” and “Every time you get on a plane, you show me that the sky’s the limit."
